'Arry Talks Down Parker's Price

It's classic stuff. Parker? We don't need him. Why would we want him? I've got enough good midfielders at this club anyway. West Ham can keep him, he's worth more to them than he is to us anyway. Wink, wink, nudge, nudge, a nod's as good as a wink to a blind bat.

But if you REALLY want to sell him...well we don't really need him, but to help you out, for old time's sake and all that...if it would help keep West Ham to stay in business, I suppose we could go to...five million if really pushed. Or £3million in the summer if you've already been relegated. Mind you, we can't pay his absurd wages so we will be looking either for Mr West Ham to take a wage cut or for you lot to pay him £20k a week to play for us until his contract runs down in, what, four year's time?

How does that sound? I know, I'm ripping out my own heart and giving it to you as a present, but then, I'm that kind of guy!

As I've said all aong, Parker will still be a West Ham player come
1st February.

And his value will continue to fall to the point where we have to buy out his contract in the summer rather than face bankruptcy in the Championship!

everytime you bang on about getting rid of parker or him spinning into blind alleys you lose a bit of credibility. Parker is the best player in the team. Regardless of your blood lust for controversy, that's a fact. Top scorer, involved in almost every goal this season. Maybe his spinning hold up play is due the fact he's surrounded by morons who don't know when to make runs or give him options. I hope he satys, forever, and we build the team around him.

Our win percentage with Parker in the team is 27%. That amounts to ten victories a season, or 30 points from victories. A further 8 draws leaves you on the brink of relegation. That record stretches across Turds, Zola and Grant. If he is THAT good, why do we struggle so badly with him in the team? If he doesn't make that much difference, why don't we sell him?

I think he will go. He is wasted at our club! Only player with the drive and basically carrying the squad on his shoulders.

I wouldn't blame him if he thought fuck this I'm off, they are offering him European football and we are offering him a relegation scrap with a squad full of shites who cant even get onto the end of a ball of his.

Regardless whether we stay up or not he will leave in the summer anyway (for less) so best let the fella go onto better pastures imo.
We have been shit for a season and a half and it's finally caught up with us, I'm ready for the drop now and on a positive note I don't think it will be as bad as we think.

We really do have a good crop of young players that can get us up imo. Anyone else see us getting 30 points from now until end of season? Basically it means we need to find a striker that is going to score double figures in half a season!!

27 points mate!

dean ashton could score more then all our strikers put together even if he cant play again or maybe we could sign zola and di canio as players

You could sell Parker however which players would you get coming in the other way for a half decent price that wouldn't break the bank wage wise? Who would want to come to a side that is pretty much relegated already?

Looking at the squad on the weekend, without Parker that team was merely a Championship level team.

That's where we are heading mate.

Forget the Wigan game, the game at Fulham now becomes the real SoS game, a loss or even a draw there and it's goodbye to the Prem.

If only we kept Zola eh everyone? Because he was ten times the mnager Grant was, Oh and why couldn't we have kept the previous Icelandic regime, they knew how to run a football club.

No press statements for weeks from the Gollies, no slagging of the useless current manager the way they did to Zola, they cant spin the Semi-Final ticket sales to be sold out..... these two don't give a feck at all, bring back the Icelandics and Zola at least he coached and they tried.

We should sell Parker as we will be relegated in March and will only get £3m for him once we are down

HAMM3R, I think TIS was being ironic, yet you have posted overnight his statement, as if you are being serious!

I am serious - the icelandics spent dough - admittedly not wisely and if it wasn't for the international melt down no doubt they'd have spent some more - better than those tight wads we have at the moment
