Interesting to see that Zoltan Gera has been released on a free by Fulham. Like Nolan, he scores goals from midfield and, to my mind, he would be the perfect "shadow" for our new captain in the event of injury - and let's face it, history tells out Nolan will tear a muscle just before the new season kicks off! I would like to see Gera added to the squad personally.

theres quite a few players in the free transfer list that have been missed out and theres also a few I hope sullivan is looking at to sign
Good call HF...has been a great servant for all the clubs he has played at and has a good goals to games ratio as an attacking midfielder.At 32,obviously past his best, but I must have at least another year left in him especially at championship level.The only worry is for a club to discard a player,you wonder how much has his game deteriorated.

John Carew on a free wud b a bargain. Again past his best but better than certain strikers currently leading the line. Jay Boothroyd also proven championship goal scorer other PL clubs looking at him but big sam has shown he can convince players to join the club proven with the signing of Nolan.
