Dyer Scores Twice For Reserves

Gentlemen, we can rebuild him. We have the technology. We have the capability to build the world's first bionic man. Kieron Dyer will be that man. We can make him better than he was before. Better, stronger, faster.

Two goals for the reserves do not a superstar make, but it is a start. Dyer lasted 68 mins tonight and was not stretchered off! There's no doubt that a fit and firing Dyer would be a major asset for the team and maybe, just maybe this is the...

Hang on, what am I saying? Kieron will probably sneeze and rupture abdominal muscles tomorrow but, until we hear the latest BUPA Bulletin, let's keep our fingers crossed that Dyer might actually be on the comeback trail this time.

Well, we can dream, can't we?

newcastle havent done many good transfer deals out (or in) but when we sold you dyer that had to be deal of the century

That or when Arsenal offloaded Ljungberg to us! Or when Tottenham picked up Carrick for a pittance!

would laugh at that but im afraid we have too many bad ones for me to comment, still good luck in staying up would hate if we passed you by on our way back up

Cheers, and good luck to your boys. Shows how poor the Fizzy Pop is really, that you and West Brom are romping it!

we just have players who have that bit of premier league quality like nolan smith etc and west brom are used to going up and down

The problem comes if you get up. Can you leave Hughton in charge? Can you sack him if he gets you up? Will you have the funds to buy a team able to survive? Still can't forget that last game of season and your total lack of creativity in the second half. The gulf is huge!

problem was last season was no team unity it was a group of individuals not a team and thats why we went down. And should we get up we should have room to move finance wise thanks to the loss of englands micheal owen the beached whale viduka and other high earners, and as for hughton, hes the one whos built up the team spirit like it has been built up, if we do go up he deserves to stay

Passport back down if he stays I fear. As Zola is showing, nice guys don't win in the Prem!

i beg to differ on the nice guy bit, Sir bobby robson for example was one of footballs gentlemen just depends on the person.
All will become clear in time

I say we just chop Dyer up and use him for spare parts e.g. ankle for Deano

Heard Dyer broke both wrists applauding the crowd as he went off!!!

Kieron who?
I'd hold my breath but optimism is deserting me somewhat.
Maybe actually winning against Burnley might turn that around...

Dyer for South Africa anyone

Air's thin up there Deane. I wouldn't risk it, he'll definitely come home injured.
