Jonjo Heuerman - A Great Young Hammer With A Great Cause
My name is Jonjo and I am 8 years old.
Between the 24th and 26th February 2011 I will be walking from Wembley Stadium to West Ham United in memory of my nanny who died from bowel cancer. I am also walking in memory of Bobby Moore and all of the money I raise will be donated to The Bobby Moore Fund for Cancer Research UK.
I have been very lucky to have recently heard from WHUFC who will be helping me, Cancer Research UK are also helping me too. I am emailing you to ask if you could please help me spread the word. This year my sister raised £9500 for our local hospice in memory of our nanny. I want to beat her amount. On the 26th February I will be walking the final part of my challenge from Bobby’s childhood home in Barking to the centre circle of the pitch before kick off against Liverpool. I am a season ticket holder and WHUFC have agreed to let me have a collection on the day too. It would be nice if some of the fans could do the last stage of the walk with me (I might need a shoulder carry as I could be tired by then).
Can you please give me a mention on your website? My sister has made a website for me which has just been launched HERE. it has details of the wallk including the route. My just giving page is www.justgiving.com/fornannyandbobby and my email is fornannyandbobby@sky.com. All of these are being watched by mummy and daddy too.

Seems like you're way behind KUMB and WHTID with this HF.
What is it they say about imitation being the highest form of flattery?!
This is a charity appeal, not an article. I don't think who posts when is relevant when it comes to charity appeals does it? I was asked to publicise, so publicise I have. A bit of "spacing" probably maximises exposure for the appeal. Happy to flatter Jonjo though!
The article says february 2010, that must be a mistake? Would help the kids cause to change the year!
twat.
How come you don't seem to be slagging off WHTID anymore Hammers??????
So it does. Just posted what was submitted 1722.
What an inappropriate response 1730!
WHTID? Awful site that sticks to the Party script. West Ham United's Pravda in my opinion.
Funny, I heard it was because you'd been threatened with suspension by newsnow if you carried on posting your obsessive thoughts about Ian Dale.
And, Hammersfan, you are West Ham United's a***hole.
Did you? Where did you hear that from. To quote Pulp Fiction, "They do talk don't they?"
Actually, I'm thinking of complaining to Sky News about Mr Dale's inappropriate use of the word "moist" in relation to Margaret Thatcher's memoirs. Very bad taste indeed!
Please explain why you foul individuals are making these posts on a thread advertising an 8 year old's sponsored walk on behalf of a cancer charity. Have you no sense of what is appropriate?
like we warned you we are going to close you down. sod of back to Belsen yid lover.
No hammersfan, I heard that from newsnow actually.
18.16 - as much as hammersfan isn't welcome anywhere, you are even less welcome you piece of pea brained scum.
18:09 - perhaps it's the fact that no one comes hear to read what you have to say because what you have to say is complete and utter nonsense. People only come here to slag you off and make a fool out of you. You are such an easy target after all.
So he's not one of your gang then 1847. Pleased to hear it! Why does he use "we" though?
1918, a VERY small percentage of the people who come here leave critical comments.
19.26 - you'll know as well as anyone that you can say whatever you like on the internet.
You'll also know how easy it is to become deluded as your 'SMALL percentage' comment belies!!!
this site is like someones own personal train wreck. i love it!
I hope you're not reading this Jonjo.Using a charity appeal to show the worst side of adult behaviour devalues your efforts.
If you are reading this then good luck son.I'll be chipping in for your Nan and for Bobby.
John V P
if this post is anything to go by it's 100% comments that slag you off!!!
Well done Jonjo I have donated and you all should donate a few quid including you hammersfan. Come on its for a great cause. Up the hammers and well done Jonjo
Seems like you now have two 'Johns' commenting on your site HF. From now on I will identify myself as 'Old John'
I couldn't agree more John SV. Of all the threads they could have chosen to indulge in this, they choose this one. They really are a foul bunch. Old John, I supsect they will simply adopt that handle to try to upset you. Best treated with the utter contempt they deserve!
Sorry HF, you have to be partly to blame for the idiots spoiling this young man's appeal. You could easily have moderated all the scum, how do you think Jonjo feels? I know you will say you are just demonstrating what levels this scum will go to, but there's more than enough examples of this on the majority of your other threads and you could have meerly approved those offering support to Jonjo. I think you owe Jonjo an apology as in football parlance you could have refereed better.
PS Good luck to you Jonjo, your'e a fine example of what these idiots will never be.
1543, the problem is, I moderate comments without registering the forum on which they are appearing. I expressed my disgust. These people really are very sick sadly. It just shows what we are dealing with in society these days!
I wish you every success in the world little fella and I hope you are able to enjoy the walk to upton park. God Bless you and your family.
firstly, well done! what a great kid for raising all that money for a good cause. it will no doubt do a lot of good.
next year he might try something a bit more taxing to raise the money though. 23 miles in 3 days (7 and a half miles a day) is not exactly a feat even for an eight year old. if you went christmas shopping for 3 days in a row you would probably have covered about 23 miles. hundreds of younger kids each year have walked further for charity in just a single day for the wells walk alone. thats on countryside footing, not city tarmac so its much harder. where are their celebrity endorsements and are their causes any less worthy. sorry to be a grinch but its true. the kids main skill seems to be PR.
