Playing for Coventry as a late substitute, Freddie - The New Tony Cottee - Sears very nearly scored. He didn't score. In fact the goal that he nearly scored should have been ruled offside - because Sears was interfering with play - but still, he was involved and in the box, and he nearly touched the ball, and had he touched the ball, he might have had a shot and, had he had a shot, he might have scored. Just shows the lad's enormous potential if you ask me. Before the season ends, he may score a goal in the Fizzy Pop!

Although your post is tongue in cheek. The bloke has been on the bench and hasn't had a sniff the past month or so. If he starts games he will score, although he couldn't for Palace!
and your point is?
My point? I watched the game hoping to see Freddie score. He nearly got a touch in the penalty box in a game in the Fizzy Pop. I will let you draw your own conclusion from that.
No 1937, you make West Ham fans look like idiots because you cannot type 30 words without using the c word.
do a similar post on Nouble, in fact why not put everyone down who is affiliated with the club...or have you got that under control?
I will if Nouble is still drawing a blank aged...Freddie is 20 now isn't he? It isn't Freddie's fault, it is the fault of the fans who want to turn every kid into the next great thing. I fear the lad is distinctly ordinary. I said as much after the Macclesfield cup tie and was massacred by Freddie Is God fans.
but you're the one highlighting these inadequacies, not these "fans" that you like to hide behind. Maybe you're the so called fan that puts pressure where there should be none by putting this unnecessary tosh in the public domain.
I doubt it. I doubt Freddie reads this so how can he feel pressure because of it?
well then, if you don't want to join the chorus of 'he's the next best thing' why not just let him develop. That's why he's on loan, to try and distance him from this type of ill informed negativity and let him find himself and make mistakes on someone else's doorstep. why not get your bring back lou macari campaign reignited if you're looking for something to do
Yep, if he scores, he may keep scoring. Fingers crossed eh?
"My point? I watched the game hoping to see Freddie score"
Oh well poor little HF, hoped to see a goal and that little c*nt Freddie Sears couldn't even do that for you!
I mean, if he'd have known that you were watching the game he might have tried a little bit harder to score a goal for you.

"It isn't Freddie's fault, it is the fault of the fans who want to turn every kid into the next great thing."
Yet further proof of your idiocracy.
I think I understand the point you are trying to make Oward. But you are wrong. The Freddie Is God fans would have watched EXPECTING Freddie to score; I watched HOPING he would score. I retain hope that he may yet come good but I don't expect it. The boy burst on the scene with a pretty basic goal - he didn't bury his first chance but headed home the rebound off the keeper. We all got excited but a class striker would probably have tucked away the first shot. Early doors, I was expressing concern about his movement - he kept sprinting into the box rather than holding his run, creating a pull back opportunity for Bellamy who was getting to the byline with refreshing regularity. Freddie's intuition and instinct seemed lacking for a "natural striker". It was evident again yesterday, with Sears running into an offside position in a really naive way and then doing his best to get to the ball having done so. Fortunately for Coventry, he didn't touch the ball and so was ruled not to have become active - otherwise the goal would have been struck off due to his impetuosity. You might say "He's just a kid" but he isn't a kid any more. Defoe and Cottee were banging in goals in the top division at Freddie's age; he remains goalless in the Fizzy Pop.
2049: I bet you feared Lumpard was ordinary, along with carrick, joey cole and rio
16:23 you're on a losing steak old son - self destruct and all that... you're really starting to be a minority and on your own blog that's not good - far more disagree than agree
That might just be the point! ; }
1640 I never had ANY doubts about Rio, Carrick or Lampard (unlike many Hammers fans). Nor did I have any doubts about Defoe. I did, however, express the opinion that Joe Cole was not as good as some were saying - good player, I said, not great. And so it has proved. I also said that Noble wasn't top notch and sadly that's the case.
17:09 I bet you're had a slap more than once - do you work with other people? I mean do you share other peoples personal space during working hours? I can't imagine spending 8 hours of a working day banged up with a self conceited supercilious tit like you. I spit feathers every time I come here - which isn't that often I reckon in real life I'd be up for a 10 stretch
so it's just as well there's no possibility of running in to you.
Are you not going to the Wolves game?
Please please please stop telling us about your past predictions you sound like a large prat. Had enough.
