So, hang on, I'm doing the sums here, I borrow £34,000,000 at 10% and after compound interest I owe £54,750,000 at the end of the 5 years. So, I can look for a quick sale and part with my stake for £150million - which represents a fantastic deal for the buyer - clear the debt and leave myself a cool £95milllion profit! And for doing what? Diddly squat! Lovely jubberly!
But I will have to get in quick because there will be investors queuing around the block! What could go wrong for God's sake? Well, apart from the team crashing out of the Premiership of course!
It does make you wonder why Sullivan & Gold haven't pumped £20million or so into buying players with the quality to keep us in the division doesn't it? And you might also wonder why they're not buying the rest of the club themselves. Unless, of course, the figures being bandied around are pie in the sky.

SuGo are probably looking at the Citeh model and figure that in 5 or 6 years time some wealthy Arab/Oligarch will be tempted to buy our shiny new stadium and all the additional lucre the cricket/concerts/athletics...etc. may bring in.How much is the SuGo spin machine and how much is the anti-hammers section of the media (which seems to be most these days) I'm not sure.
Pro's and con's and for what it's worth I think SuGo have been good for us...not in all aspects and not in any way with their P.R. but if Straumur had still been at the helm then I shudder to think where we would be..admittedly it can not get any worse position/performance wise but selling off of assets (like Collins) would've become the norm and the likes of CC,Parker,Noble (although not setting the league alight)would be gone at a fraction of their potential value...just like Collins.
Shame we didn't offload Behrami when he was worth something mate. And if we go down and sell Parker for £3million, we are going to look stupid for turning down £12million! Cole? There were offers in the region of £15million at one stage. Would we get £5million now?
All true mate...if we do (and it really is a possibility) go down Parker,CC,Collison,Upson,Green,Tomkins will all go and we will be lucky to accrue £15 mill for the lot..

Worse position? That would be bottom, where we have been for most of the season anyway! Not that being second from bottom makes any difference, three clubs go down. So tell me, how could it be worse? Perhaps if we had banked £25million for Parker and Cole, and used it to buy four or five players, we might now be mid table. Geez, you don't understand the basics do you?
