I got it wrong. I said give him time. I said the mess left behind was to blame. Bollocks. This idiot Grant couldn't organise a cock up in a massage parlour! Let's face it, he can't even get himself up for it!
Today a team that wasn't too good to go down went down. But they went down because of inept team selection, inept tactics and non existent motivation. Look at how Blackpool, Wolves and Wigan have fought to try to save themselves and look at how this Grant "inspired" mob have rolled over and died.
Sack him? They should have bundled him into a coffin, screwed the lid down tight and buried him. I doubt he would have bloody noticed!
"I still think we can get out of this. We just need to believe in ourselves and stop making the mistakes. I have never believed we will go down. It will be difficult now but if we can pick up 5 points from the last game of the season. I am sorry, the lights seem to have gone out. Is it me or is it very stuffy in here? Well if you will excuse me, I think I will have a little snooze."

Me and a mate were talking about this when it was breaking. My mate came up with a classic... So now that Grants been sacked, I wonder who he's gonna ask for a lift back to London... LMAO
Hahaaa. Nice last paragraph HF.
The owners still deserve flack despite their little deflection tactic in sacking him straight after the game. It was done at the DW stadium. You will see Brady talking to Dave Whelan straight after the final whistle, where she was asking for a private room in the stadium in which to sit Grant down and tell him. That's certainly more class than they afforded Zola.
I will give SuGo credit for acting so quickly. It allows us to immediately look forward as opposed to backwards at the DW.
David Gold DID say there was a "plan in place" should we go down. Does anyone believe they already have a man in place? Is there ANY chance Martin O'Neill would take on such a task? I say no. But I also thought there was no way he would even consider it, and he clearly did in January.
LOL Hammered, there are a few thousand West Ham fans who would happily oblige but I suspect the journey may take in the end of Wigan Pier!
So he's gone; and good riddance. The boil has been lanced, but the illness goes far deeper I'm afraid. We have looked disunited all season and my instinct tells me that this problem goes right up to the push-me-pull-you brothers. Are the batteries running low on the double headed dildo? Conflicting statements suggest to me that they didn't buy Duracells!
LOL Very good Marty!
And marty, I hope they gave Avram a dildo as a parting present, shoved right up his....
I am not a conspiracy theorist! I am not suggesting that SuGo and Co. aimed to get West Ham down. But yes, as they admit, they planned for it, and perhaps saw it as a blessing in disguise.
Why do I say this? Look at the facts. How did the exact same bunce of people turn around Birmingham from the brink of bankruptsy to a money machine for them? First, Birmingham got relegated and of course the road was clear to sell of their biggest assets (in demand players) and of course the biggest expense problem for a football club was solved overnight! The salary bill was cut to a mere fraction of what it was prior to relegation.
When they finally the club managed to come up again most of the debt was gone and SuGo and Co. made a huge profit from selling a club as a viable and profitable business to the new owners.
Now, if they could do all this with Birmingham, just think of the payoff if they are successful in doing this again with a London with the best possible fan support and the Olympic Stadium in the bag. Jackpot!
But, it's just a theory. I cannot prove it. I doubt if anyone can. If this were true however, what could totally screw it up is if the fans reacted to it and boycotted matches next year. I am not suggesting that they should. But it is only the only thing that can damage such an evil plan if one believes that it exists. The sad thing, is that in bringing down SuGo you also destroy they club you love. Catch 22 I am afraid!
As a final thing, I am now sure that there was a clause in Grant's contract that he could not claim compensation if West Ham was relegated and he got sucked. And that is the reason our oweners waited for so long to do the obvious. Their precious money, once again, took priority over the survival of our club.
HF, I do not take any pleasure from having you admit, finally, that Grant is rubbish. Better late than never!
We all make wrong calls in life sometimes Sav. I have written something similar on a chat forum, that this may just be part of a masterplan!
Sav, obviously by going down they can clear the decks and bring in players on lesser contracts.
Going up and down to the Prem with all the money it brings in, along with the low costs at the club worked at Birmingham, so why not?
But even in my wildest dreams, I can't imagine getting relegated is a credible part of any plan.
Does anyone think that the talk of administration is a possibility?
Gold and Sullivan played their parts in relegation, so maybe they should pay for relegation out of their wallets, like Mike Ashley did.
may? c'mon HF surely you realised right at the beginning thats what they were after Terry Brown even arrived to lend expert advice I shall be at the Sunderland game to witness what will probably be the last premiership game at the Boleyn and then tis only away games for me Did the same in 2003 when TB raped the club only came back when he was gone
Sav, I believe I wrote weeks ago that there was likely a clause in his deal that removed any compensation if he sent us down. I am pretty sure I am right.
I am surprised no answersnor comments to my O'Neill question.
Well HF it's been proved you know Fcuk all about football - you thought this guy was our saviour - you even thought he was better than Zola. He was worse, much worse, with makes you just as bad as him. Perhaps you'll now do the decent thing and shut this blog down. Or perhaps someone will have to do it for you Mmmmwwwwaaahhhhaaaahhhaaaaa
Grantzola?????? index, I would laugh if I wasn't so fcking appalled.
Glad you are so happy we have been relegated 23.33. Supporter? I don't think so. Millwall fan perhaps?
I reckon Grant purposely fucked over Brady and the dildo brothers after the bungled attempt to fuck him over in January. Well played Grant.
02:18, He's f****d over his cv as well then. Two relegations in two seasons, I'd be surprised any decent club gives him a manager's job. Actually, I wouldn't, for other reasons.
getting relegated Sav is NEVER a blessing in disguise, especially when you lose 40 million smackers as well!!! We need to get out of this stadium move while we still have a ground that is rent free before bankruptcy kicks in! Even the Arse fans moan that the Emptycrates stadium is soulless and lifeless!!! The Olympic Satdium is going to be even worse when youre 40 metres from the touchlines!!
I remember you pointing this out in one of your posts USA Dave. And you were proven right. They didn't waste one minute once they were of the hook with the compensation money in sacking AG. But on the other hand, it just goes to show that "money" is the top priority with our so called supporter-owners.
They took a risk on going down rather than paying compensation money in January and making sure we didn't go down. Just about anyone else other than Avram Grant could have saved us. I am pretty sure of that!
you finally admit defeat!
