Robbie Keane to Meet Obama!

Somebody had better warn Obama in advance, or we are likely to have an international incident. When the Irishman doesn't shake the President's proffered hand, it won't be intentional, it's simply that Robbie always misses the target from a yard out!

"West Ham have targeted Manchester United keeper Tomasz Kuszczak"

....... and you thought Green was shaky on crosses?!?! you ain't seen nothing yet.

BTW who's deciding on what players are signed - sounds like sugobr haven't learnt a thing and still think they're football managers.

Since my President has been reported to be a Hammers supporter I hope he gives ol Robbie a good verbal thrashing!

Skysports are reporting that Spector and Gabbidon have been offered new contracts. Um, why?

Wouldn't it be a better idea to wait until we have a new manager in place to see if they fit into his plans? Obviously, the days of SuGo dictating the playing squad are far from over. We could put Jose in charge and it wouldnt make any difference. If these muppets dont learn to take a back seat in team affairs we will remain in decline.

Norwich have hinted that Lambert is about to sign a new contract there so he is now out of the running. Dave Jones is now the bookies favorite!

Spector and Gabbidon offered new deals!

Yeah, Let's make sure we keep the good ones!!!

These two should have gone years ago. Why is Sullivan offerring them new deals? And before a new manager is in place.

It is my worst nightmare! Being relegated and keeping Spector and Gabbidon! Surely, things cannot possibly get any worse!

Yeah, especially when he doesn't know his left from his right.

specter and gabbidon will be ok in the championship lets hope they are only getting one year contracts

I agree with Jim. We should remember we're talking about the 2nd division here. Gabbidon and Spector will be two of the not only better, but more experienced players. It'd be advantageous to keep them.

Sorry to disagree with you on this one Stani. They will not be any good even for Sunday League football.

Sav,
No problem mate! I think Gabbidon will be a step ahead in the Champioship and Spector will flourish IF he is played in midfield. Have to keep him away from the defence. Spector is better than Noble in midfield. I 100% am saying that because I believe it.

One thing I would say about Gabbidon is that he has fallen a tad short since his return from his long term injury, but he's an international defender and there are not many international players in that league.

Also, as much as we'd love to, we can't really get rid of everyone and I think Specs and Gabbidon fall into that 'keep' bracket.

I think we have to remember how good Gabbidon was before his injury.I think he has been improving as he has got more and more match fit and could be a very good player for us in the championship.

The point here is not about the merits of Spector and Gabbs as players but one of why is that IDIOT Sullivan still playing footbal manager? All decisons on playing staff must be left to the new manager.

If Spector is played in midfield, I think he'll be ok, just about. Gabbidon is showing his age for sure, and if it was my call I'd let him go. In a fantasy world, where I was a billionaire and had just bought WHU, I'd sack the whole 1st team, except Collison, DaCosta, Ba, and Tomkins..they mostly do what they are supposed to do.
