A Broken Bentley?

So Doctor Evil reckons Bentley needs some tender loving care. He thinks that good management will turn the lad around. He believes that inside that very ordinary looking player is a super star bursting to get out. We will see.

The trouble is, Bentley has now been shown the door by two of the best man managers in the British game. If Wenger and Redknapp have both given up on him, might it not be time to recognise that Bentley is not as good as he thinks he is?

The lad has fallen a long way since he was heralded as the new David Beckham but there is plumbing the depths and plumbing the depths. How low have you sunk when you are second choice to Julian Faubert in the Championship for pity's sake?

We all hope Sam is right of course, but I reckon the odds must be pretty long on Bentley ever looking the real deal again. This hasn't been inspired by that miss against Millwall, it wasn't such a sitter because of the challenge anyway, it is because he has been in a trough for so long now. It may be that Bentley is just like Keane, a shot bolt farmed out to us by Redknapp in preference to having him sulking in the dressing room and depressing everybody.

He sounds a bit like your mate HF; Mr West Ham, Scotty Parker.

Parker joined us after dreadful spells at Chelsea and Newcastle.

Perhaps we can get him back into shape for Redknapp and a "special" debut upon his return.

Ever the optimist, I bet you are a great laugh to have a beer with....

I'm not on his back. I ask a question and say we all hope Sam is right.

"Second choice to Faubert"? That's a bit "tabloid" isn't it? Faubert has been playing well and you don't drop a man in form; Bentley has just arrived and is a bit rusty.

We all need a good service every now and then and who better to provide it than the Dildo brothers? New plugs, points and an oil change and surely he'll pass his MOD!

I see that despite all our excellent suggestions last night the new stadium will probably be named after sponsors... well there's a surprise. Actually I like "The new Boleyn". Everybody thinks we play at Upton Park so it has the ring of a new name whilst maintaining tradition.

The question is, who will the sponsor be? Not Ann Summers apparently. Knowing our luck, whoever it is will become mired in controversy the week after the contract is signed! We missed out on the Lehman Brothers Arena and the News International Palace but there are enough dodgy outfits out there ready to associate themselves with West Ham.

He was a quality player at BLACKBURN,at only 27 he is hardly past it,in fact he is probably at his peak age-wise,so we shall see what ALLARDYCE can do to resurrect his career.I think he will come good and will be a regular in the side. What is it with SPURS ,they seem to have an inate ability of damaging a players career...PALACIOS,PAVLYLUCHENKO,PIENAAR,KRANJCAR...just a few who have faded away it seems.

Sponsor? St. Mungo's... All will be revealed by the Dildo Brothers at the Revelations Stadium. It's the end of the world as we know it!

Faubert has played shite and was one of the reason we struggled to create chances against millwall as evertime faubert got the ball he couldnt cross the bloody ball and went either across the floor straight to the other team or just straight to the other team

Sticking your neck out a bit HF? Don't worry, he'll come good. Just needs game time, CLEARLY!

"I reckon the odds must be pretty long on Bentley ever looking the real deal again" are you mental?
