West Ham Will Be Awarded Olympic Stadium Tomorrow - Wednesday December 5

All the speculation ends tomorrow. Some time after 10 am on Wednesday December 12, West Ham will at last be confirmed as the new tenants of the Olympic Stadium - for better or for worse.

Spurs tried to derail the deal and only achieved delays. Orient tried too and only triggered derision. Even the Yanks tried to bid for the home of the London Olympics and were rightly told where to stick their stars and stripes.

I'm no fan of the move but I'm an old traditionalist and I may be wrong. But tomorrow the arguments end and Sullivan & Gold's dream becomes a reality.

The question is now, will season ticket holders get a discount on apartments in Boleyn Mansions?

A sad day indeed. We'll be watching football in a lifeless stadium

I think preferred bidder status is all we can hope for tomorrow

Followed West Ham for 50 years and have never seen them play live (being an Australian). Better get to the UK soon and see us at Upton Park. The Olympic Stadium, while it may be impressive, just wont seem right.

Don't worry about it Nicholas, neither has hf and he's only been out of the UK for 4 months!

don't worry about low paid tax payers in the north, we happy to fund your new stadium

You and your club are an absolute joke. MOT

We are Anton. Hear the one about the team eighth in the Premiership in their first season after promotion? Mind you, I know a much funnier joke about a team bought by dodgy Arabs!

Well look at the response the plastic hammer gets. Despite a mix up with the dates 5th or 12th? Make your mind up you senile bedwetter. This is how many people actually care, sad isn't it? I predicted a while back that your nazi fanbase will rattle around that stadium like peas in a whistle. It will shame the nuremburg rallies for sure.

Oi, that's 3 on the bounce for the dodgy Arabs!

Admittedly I may be wrong but am assuming Anton is referring to your lack of trophies, weak fan base and fact you get unbelievably excited over complete mediocrity. Now add to that context the olympic stadium. I think your response says it all tbh.

Not quite sure why he is getting so personal though as I think the layout of this website is excellent and find reading the comments (yes even yours) really addictive!

Weak fan base??
Considering what we have had to put up with over the years our support has held up strong and we are without doubt a sleeping giant.

Urmmm sleeping giant 1228? Are you referring to West Ham here? I would have thought comotozed (why is spellcheck not working) dwarf was more appropriate. Not sure what you mean by what you have put up with over the years. Surely it's always been mid-table, mid-table, relegation, promotion, mid table, mid table, mid table , relegation, play off final, promotion, mid table....I would have thought boredom would be a better way to describe it! Kinda puts it in perspective doesn't it?
