Bowyer Rubs Salt Into Wound

Asked about scoring against the team he supports, Bowyer replied by saying, "Not through choice" before confirming that he never wanted to leave us and would gladly have ended his career at Upton Park. Can anybody explain why we let him go and actually shelled out money for Kovac? I admit that I never wanted him in the first place after the Woodgate incident but his six goals so far this season show exactly what we are missing. And where was Kovac when Bowyer drilled home his goal? Nowhere near the man he was supposed to be tracking!

Perhaps Zola might like to explain the thinking behind releasing Bowyer and buying Kovac!

kovac is terrible, utterly terrible. If you were to graph his passing range it would consist of 1/2 a circle facing towards our goal. Zola's tactics continue to befuddle me - i.e insisting playing a left footer on the right wing and vice versa. Why Da Costa was dropped is still perplexing, not to mention starting noble AND kovac over collison. Dyer's performance was encouraging - now hopefully we can see him get a run of games (how many times have we heard that?).

I think Bowyer was dead weight in the eyes of Zola as soon as he set foot in the door, let's hope we're not making the same mistake with Quashie. But being serious, as somebody said in a previous article, we should try Quashie instead of Kovac, after all it can't go much worse.

Quashie is on loan to MK dons

Zamora, Bowyer, Collins....

We used to regret the sales of the likes of Rio, Defoe, Joe Cole! Now recounting even mediocre departures is too depressing to bear.

Front office is a joke. Let me have a go. Got us to the Champions League finals in 5 years (in fm10) :)

Wasn't it I who had the unconditional support of Bowyer when I said he can get back to the form he had in Leeds? I miss him.

Hard to place in the list of fcuk ups by the Hammers but seems to be definitely up there with the worst of them! Kovac is proving time and time again he's shite, I don't know why Zola keeps persisting with him, must be amazing in training!! As for where this defeat leaves us? Looking for a paddle I reckon and the creek is becoming Cape Horn during hurricane season!!!
