The Morning After And The Day Before - A Deathly Hush
This morning feels like a scene from an old western. The town's top gunslinger lies dead in the street. Tumbleweed blows across the set. A buzzard flies overhead, circling as West Ham players cower like frightened Mexicans beneath boarded up windows. A harmonica wails out the tune of "Bubbles". Two bankers, Gold and Sullivan, hastily pack their belongings in the hotel, desperate to head on out when the next stage coach arrives - if it ever arrives. Mayor Duxbury is nowhere to be seen. Sheriff Zola and Deputy Clarke look frightened and desperate; set to hand in their badges at any moment. The wanted posters - Adriano, Toni, Balotelli - are yellow and torn, flapping in the wind.
And in the distance is the thunder of hooves. The Bolton gang are riding into town looking for a scrap!

You know Hammersfan, you really make me laugh sometimes hombre. I read all of the hammers blogs as i get time, but yours is the best, despite all the flak that you cop, which in itself is funny. I see what you are saying behind the humour. You are right ninety nine times out of a hundred, no one is perfect. Yes, everyone is sitting around licking their wounds, waiting for the next battle. What does the future hold? Players leaving? Relegation? Continuing downward spiral? Lets be honest, that's what happening. Lets hope that the club take an offer soon, because that's what it's all about. Lets hope that they have some feeling for the club & the supporters & that it is not simply their financial position, which is not our fault. I remain positive though. We are not in as much debt as some. Lets see how much Manu spend in the window despite getting 80 mill for Ronaldo & they need defenders to make a real challenge. Let's hope our players can do the right thing by the supporters, as difficult as it must be for them too. We are at a crossroads for sure, & those that control the club are holding the reins of the horse. Good luck pilgrim, good blog.
Cheers Winston.
Gold and Sullivan have, apparently, stated that their wish is to re-instate Turds as manager If this is the case I say bring on the Championship relegation with Zola is a much more palatable option although a good manager would be the best solution reckon Zola needs to stick to coaching
Nice analogy. I think we are in a duel with no bullets against Bolton!
