Bolton v Man City. Clattenbung Does It Again!
I nicknamed him Clattenbung after the most ridiculously one sided refereeing performance I have ever seen, in a Liverpool and Everton game a couple of seasons ago, when he failed to give Everton two nailed on penalties and allowed Kuyt to stay on the pitch after a hideous two footed lunge. And today, he repeated the trick!
How on earth did he send off Bellyache? Fair enough, show him a striaght red for dissent - I would do that every week - but show him a second yellow after Period Pains was sent sprawling by a blatant foul? And that, after Clattenbung had allowed a blatantly offside goal. How can you allow a goal touched home from a foot out with the scorer a yard in advance of any defender? Absurd, truly absurd!
And the common link apart from the twat in the middle himself? Kryten Lescott. What has the Red Dwarf man done to upset Clattenbung I wonder? Was he one of the players being talked about as the officials came out for the second half? Hughes is quoted as saying, "“I also don’t appreciate when the referees coming out for the second half start making comment about who they do or do not like in my team. They might be having a laugh and a joke. I have to be careful here as we are talking about integrity.” You can bet your life Bellyache topped the list of those disliked!
And the relevance of all this to a West Ham blog? That inept refereeing performance may keep Bolton up and send us down come the end of the season!

he was terrible. would have been laughable if i was a neutral.
period pains?
A Manchester Blue.
he's just crap missed a hand ball by richards and gave everything against k davies as he always does
Bellamy became Bellyache became Period Pains - sums him up as a person and relates back to his abductor muscle injury which kept him out for long periods whilst at West Ham.
Even cameras could not confirm if Richards had handled. Davies fouls all the time anyway.
