Would you Adam and Eve it, Behrami is now blaming our plight on bad luck! Quoted on the Official Site, Behrami pledges his and the squad's support to Zola (well he would, wouldn't he Stani?) and places the blame on that fickle mistress Lady Luck. Behrami says,
"The team is all together. We have a good relationship with everyone. Everyone trusts the manager and wants to give a lot for him, because this situation is not easy. We know that. It's just that we have to give something special and something more than we did before. We can change the whole season in the last six games. If a small thing changes, maybe an own-goal, then it can change our whole season. We haven't been so lucky. I know we didn't play so well either."
Don't you just love it! Behrami doesn't even identify a scuffed shot as our route to safety, he wants the bloody opposition to put the ball in the net for us! Well, I suppose, he has seen enough of McCarthy, Mido and Ilan in training to know it is hoping for too much for any of those guys to score, even if Lady Luck is offering herself legs akimbo.
Mind you, Behrami does have a point. We were unlucky when Fulham and Sunderland were reduced to 10 men in the first 45 minutes when we were holding the lead. We were unlucky too when Arsenal went down to 10 men before the first half had ended. We were unlucky too when Villa were reduced to 10 men when the scores were level and when Hull went down to 10 men when we were a goal behind at their place. And Bolton losing a player with 20 minutes remaining didn't help us either! And Hull being reduced to 9 men, with another limping was very unlucky too! How much luck does Behrami want in one season exactly?

Yes, because it's obvious the players support the manager. HF, you are able to admit the players support the manager without conceding that you support him yourself.
Behrami does say "I know we didn't play so well either" So your title could have said "Behrami blames the players"
But how does he hope to turn it around? Does he talk about how the manager has inspired the players? Does he reveal that we have a game plan specially tailored for Everton? Nope, he is hoping for an own goal to turn things around for us. Says it all Stani. The words of a broken man, blaming luck when he knows the fault is elsewhere. Why did the team not play well? Would that be down to poor selection and tactics?

You're an intelligent man so you should know that here is a guy who does not speak fluent English trying to say that we just need something to go our way, even an own goal, and then maybe our luck will change. If you look at his statement as a whole, that is his message. So, as Smithy said to Becks, stop it you silly-billy.
I am tickling nobody's nuts mate. Read it. Does it sound like the statement of a guy who thinks we are going to win at Everton? Does it sound like a guy who believes the manager has what it takes to turn things around. Or does it sound like a man travelling more in hope than expectation? It doesn't inspire me! Don't you think the OS polishes up the statement for the players? How about this for what could have been said:
"To be honest we have let ourselves down, let the mananger down and let the fans down over the last three home games. No excuses, we were poor. The manager prepared us well, the coaches explained the game plan, but we didn't deliver. Maybe it was the tension. Maybe it was the desire to do it for Mr Zola and the fans. I can't really explain why we were so poor but nobody at the club is ducking responsibility."

Firstly, the guy can hardly speak English, and secondly, footballers are not the most eloquent at expressing things using language anyway. That said, there is not a footballer in the world who'd say what you wrote there. It would do them more harm than good.
