Surely Zola Must Have Got The Message By Now!
Surely, surely, surely, even bone headed Zola must have got the message by now! We got a result at Everton last week because key players were played in their correct positions, but we nearly lost because Zola still decided to sod around and play poor Spector out of position.
It seems that Franco, Ilunga, Collison, Dyer, Behrami and Tomkins will all be missing against Sunderland. If that is the case, then Zola must not bugger around by playing Diamanti and Stanislas on the wrong flanks, and nor must he play Ilan wide to give Mido another chance. If we does and we don't win, he should be lynched - literally.
Stanislas and Ilan showed against Everton that, played in the right positions, they can do the business. With Noble needed for centre midfield, Zola has very few selection choices to make - the bulk of the team picks itself. If he gets the few choices he has to make wrong, then God help us. If Diamanti is fit, then the midfield should read, right to left, Stanislas, Kovac, Noble, Diamanti. Up front, Cole and Ilan should be givens. At the back, the only choice is between Spector and Daprela. My vote would be for Daprela after The Wank cost us two goals at Goodison Park.
We must win this game. Let's hope Zola doesn't bugger up again!
Come On You Don't Messi It Up Irons!
