Keane In, Ba on Bench with Cole

So the side has been picked. Piquionne teams up with Keane up top, O'Neil and Obinna are on the flanks and Noble and Parker in centre midfield. As an offensive unit, it looks good, but defensively? Ouch!

Gabbidon is paired with Tomkins as Upson gives in to another niggle. Well, he doesn't want to carry an injury into next season does he? That might limit his salary negotiations with other clubs! Immediately, we see the stupidity of not signing another defender in the window! Gabbidon aint good enough and his presence could cost us dear! On the flanks we have Jacobsen and Bridge but should any of the defenders pull up lame, we only have Reid on the bench.

Barerra doesn't even make it onto the bench and nor does Faubert. Is the Frenchman injured? Who knows.

It looks like 4-4-2 to me but what is Obinna going to offer defensively? So sign of Specs either so he is presumably injured.

Specs has a hamstring

Gabbidon is good enough HF.

We will see. He doesn't have a future at the club because we haven't offered him a new contract. Clumsy, slow of thought, badly exposed against Forest at the weekend, weak in the air.

Sorry HF excuse my lack of understanding, but what is the meaning or metaphor of the picture. My daughter takes these kind of surreal pictures and I just don't get them! Oh, just thought, ......we're on the right track? And I guess the result is proof of the pudding (needs a picture)!

TH, I think I was thinking about how vulnerable we are to the route one approach. But my mind does think at tangents sometimes so it may have been something else! It's a great picture though!

It is a good picture. Do note after many recommendations by you, I've finally taken a name, but promise not to bring up Qatar!
