Amazing isn't it? Robbie Keane off to Celtic on loan and Hudson to Sunderland - and couldn't we have used both? So why have both players headed north on loan instead of moving across London? Surely, a move to West Ham would have suited both players better than upping sticks and moving to the lands of disused ship yards?
Why should 'Arry let them join a local rival you might argue? Well we aint going to catch Tottenham this season are we, and they have already taken 6 points off us. Surely it would suit 'Arry to strengthen a team that has to play against Liverpool, Everton, Fulham, Birmingham and Man City before the season ends - immediate competitors of Tottenham in the race for the Champions League / a place in Europe. Keane can't dent any of Tottenham's rivals playing for the Jock Straps can he? How valuable might a winning goal scored by Robbie K against Man City have proved for Tottenham? Imagine the irony of us securing Tottenham's Champions League place by defeating one of their main rivals with a goal from Tottenham's club captain. We wouldn't know whether to cheer or cry!
So what's going on? Is 'Arry still bitter over his sacking? Does he hate us because of the way we treat his nephew? Or did Duxbury well and truly queer our pitch with his "We will never sell to Tottenham" comments. Personally, I would much rather have Keane than any of the three new signings. We certainly could have used Hutton too! 'Arry screwed us with Gudjohnsen and could have made amends by letting us have Keane and Hutton on loan. I hope the taxman does him!

What you seem to forget is that Sullivan offered £100,000 a week to get Van Nistelroy so what was the problem with trying to get Keane - Or was that just another publicity stunt by the 2 dildo's!!
Who the hell is Hudson? Brilliant midfielder who played for Chelsea through the 1970s. Fair play, a typo which I have left there as certain people picked it up. If you read through to the last paragraph you will see that I know his name is Hutton.
With regard to salary, we were prepared to pay it for Van N if Sullivan is to be believed!

I think if we really wanted Keane we would have got him. He's not a great player, he's just played with some great players who have made him look good.
As for Hutton, shame we didn't get him, but I do think Faubert is up to the challenge.
I think Mido will be great for us, what could be better then a forward determined to prove himself, I mean he is definitely not doing it for the money. We are going to see some dedicated performances from him.

I think the 3 signings we got our excellent considering our situation with money and where are in the table. Harry is a C**t and Keane can have fun in a shit league.
McCarthy is the all time top goal scorer of South Africa and his goal scoring ratio is 1 in 2 plus he always does best in his 1st season when he is inspired which is what we want.
Mido is another great signing at just 1k a week, Bargain and top geezer for wanting to prove himself its what you want in a player.
Never heard of Ilan but we shall see about him.

My problem is where they all fit.
Mido and Cole dont realy compliment on another I would say the McCarthy is the closest we have to a natural finisher so he will start probably every game. then you can switch Mido/Cole and Stanislas on the flanks. Diamante now becomes a problem and I know nothing of the Brazilian. Nice problem but could be a major dilema for an inexperianced coach. Still have big concerns at the back. Upson has been a rock since coming back look at the stats. Tompkins positioning is still a major concern. Gets mugged too often for me

Keane was not first choice for Spurs don,t think he is the goal scorer he used to be. Certainly not worth £105000 a week. McCarthy will probably do better anyway. Saw the video of Ilan scoring his goals could be a dark horse, live in hopes.
