More rumours of big money offers. Nice have turned down £11.2m apparently, no doubt because S&G are trying to spread the payments over 3 or 4 years. With Piquionne close to signing, it is looking increasing as if Carlton Cole is on his way out. Happily, we look as if we are going to buy before we sell which, after the disasters of last season, is very reassuring.
What about Diamanti? It's all gone quiet on that front. Is Grant perhaps thinking about keeping him?

with the players at our disopsal in attack we have to keep diamanti but also cuz under grant i think we cud see the best out of him
Buying the likes of Piquionne cannot be reassuring HF, the guy hates scoring.
Yes, I think G&S want to pay over a number of years for these players which is why many of the clubs are saying no....even the Nice ones.
