Sullivan Rues Missing Out On Over The Hill, Hopeless, Has Been German Striker
Poor Diddy David Sullivan can't believe his luck. Prior to the World Cup, he thought he had landed German international striker Miroslav Klose. But it turns out that the guy is not a spent force after all, it seems he can still cut it with the big boys and is not yet ready for collecting a pension in semi retirement. So what do you know, he has decided he doesn't want to come to West Ham after all.
Sullivan is quoted saying: "We had a deal in place before the World Cup, after he had a bad season in Germany. However, as a result of what he has done at the World Cup, it's unlikely to happen."
So let's translate that shall we. Doesn't that equate to, "We thought we had a chance of signing Klose on the basis that he is now crap, but unfortunately it transpires that he is still pretty good so we are obviously out of the running now. It's such a shame because we were looking forward to signing another useless, over the top striker to play alongside January signing, Benni The Gut, and paying him £60,000 a week for sitting on the bench."
Very reassuring!

Klose is a good international player, so he's not over the hill/hopeless/has been, but he is not a strong club performer.
Gold, Sullivan, Mido, Ilan, McCarthy, Hitzlsberger, Piquiernose; And the rain it raineth every day.
You have missed the point somewhat 1759
luckily his good world cup has saved us a lot of money as now he won't be joining us fortunetly. i say that because any striker on 60k a week can get 5 goals a season so why are we evben looking at him
the point is if he had a bad world cup on the back of a bad season, his club were willing to ship him to us for free. but now there is life in the old dog he won't be joining us. says it all really.
yeah it don't bode well, maybe we can try and sign some other shite players and hope they don't get good to scupper the deal. i'll have a moan wank with you on that one fanny ol chap
We've signed Pablo Barrera apparently.
But Feste, some of us are singing in the rain. Gold and Sullivan have put a smile on my face!
LOL Very good 2015 on so many levels.
Muchas Gracias.
My dear Malfolio, methinks thou art an extensive collection; rather than just one sheet!
