KUMB ran a nonsense story yesterday about Jamie Redknapp tapping up Parker because they were on holiday together - ignoring the fact that they are good mates and speak to each other regularly on their mobile phones - but I haven't seen Jamie telling Scott to join Tottenham through the press!
Is this acceptable? What does constitute "tapping up" exactly? If Etherington is allowed to explain to journalists why a move to Stoke would be great for Carlton, it seems that pretty much anything goes!
Any chance that Matty has had a bet on Carlton joining Stoke? Let's hope so, because that will guarantee our goal machine continues to play in Claret and Blue!

yes he hates every one - kumb, the org and Iain dale - what you normally find with someone who hates everything is that the real problem is that they hates themselves more than anything else.

So, what constitutes tapping up? A chairman ringing a chairman, mates on holiday together, announcing to the press that you want to sign somebody without contacting the club or the player, or telling the press how well a player would do at a new club? You've been tapping crap into your computer again HF. We've spoken about this before, it's all a bit of a toe curling embarrassment to us west ham fans so please keep the thoughts pugged up in your head, there's a good chap.
The point you and others keep missing John is that this site has had nearly 550,000 hits since last October and there is a hard core of people who post derogatory comments. If this blog was so hated, why do people keep coming back - as indeed you do? And why do so few post negative comments? Let's say there are 20 negative comments a day, that amounts to 1% of the total traffic - and many of the negative comments are posted by the same guy(s). Now any organisation would be happy with a customer satisfaction rate of 99%. I don't hate anyone John. I think some of you are tossers but I don't hate tossers, I just laugh at them! As I keep saying, I could pretend that I have no critics by simply deleting any negative post. I prefer to host those opinions to be truly representative. If I hated the back biters, I would delete them. Simples.
By the way, try going on to WHTID and posting abuse about Mr Dale. You will be banned in double quick time. Try posting criticism of Neville Nixon on the Org, and see how long is is before you are barred. Little Hitlers the pair of them! But TGGC will not resort to banning people, nor to deleting posts that I do not llike - unless they use foul language or are racist. Again, nobody is forced to visit the site are they? So why keep coming? There must be an appeal somewhere!

Bit of a lull in the transfer market at the moment. Not quite sure what to expect for the coming season. Of course there's the optimism this time of year always brings, but the memories of the utter rubbish we played for most of last year are still painfully fresh, and most of the participants are still present if not correct! We will see whether Zola was truly the major wrecking influence. Perhaps the likes of Noble, Tomkins and Behrami will suddenly blossom working under a proper manager. Let's hope so!

Only some West Ham fans are sheep. The majority still retain a sense of humour and a sense of perspective. Sadly the Claret and Blue Yob Mob think support is all about straight arm salutes and abuse of anybody who has a contrary opinion to the party line.
