Beard lets the cat out of the QPR bag.

Responding to suggestions that Barton may be on his way out, Beard - who is suddenly the club's mouthpiece with Fernandes fading into the background - said: "We are not a selling club. We're in the market to buy ONE or TWO players. We're talking to several clubs about options, so I'm cautiously optimistic that we can strengthen the squad."

Oops. So how does that fit with newspaper claims about five or six players coming in, and suggestions that there is a transfer war chest of somewhere between £15m and £30m? QPR haven't even matched Chelsea's £4m asking price for Alex yet. I have said that Rs fans will be lucky if £5m is shelled out this window and with Fulham terming the offer for Johnson derisory and rumours of a £3m offer for Pienaar rejected, it may be that I am a million out, given £3m was offered for Alex.

Note the words "cautiously optimistic". Beard is talking down expectations, pouring luke warm water on the fires fuelled by Fernandes. That's why the Malaysian has suddenly lost his voice. And gRs might note that he has already hinted that he may walk away from the club, when he tweeted that he would go if the club failed.

Worrying times if you are a gR. The blue and white hooped ship has hit the rocks, are in the bottom three and are listing badly. Captain Barton is even rumoured to be abandoning the ship early. Still Newcastle field a weakened team today and there is a big six pointer coming up against Wigan. It's a shame the new signings aren't already in the team isn't it?

Thats just it!!! its newspaper talk

do you listen to what you read about West Ham in the newspaper

because if you do your even more of an idiot then I thought!!!

You try and twist the words of newspapers to make it out like this is all coming from QPR, grow up listen to what is ACTUALLY coming out of official QPR channels then maybe you wont have so much Crap to write.

But the gRs have been telling me how much you were going to spend. And if you don't, how are you going to survive?

THE NEWSPAPERS DO NOT SPEAK FOR TF. also i think you'll find that we were already the richest club in the world before he came so i'm sure we'll be fine should he leave. And it doesn't matter how much fans said we were gonna spend, they are fans they do not run the club. also tony is still tweeting as much as always. You have begun clutching at straws in this article though you do have fair points in others. also i had no idea that a ceo giving a press conference is a reason to panic. don't make me laugh aout barton leaving.

Create a seperate blog for your QPR only posts. I'd understand if these QPR articles had any relevance to west ham but most of them don't so stop posting them on a blog titled west ham wanderers. It's obvious you dislike QPR but most of us don't even care about their existence, particularly because they arn't even in the same league as us! and the funny thing is your constantly thinking about what there doing with their club, I doubt any of their fans have even cared to look back down at the championship to see how we are getting on. This bitter hatred towards them is getting boring.

It is worrying times for Qpr. For that there is no doubt. Being in the bottom 3 will always be a concern. As for expenditure we will have to wait until the end of the transfer window. I believe that we will only buy a couple of players and then land any others on loan. The worry is that loan players lack the kind of commitment and loyalty required when in a relegation fight. I am little concerned that the Mittals are determined to take control of the club and might be prepared to see Qpr fail in return for increasing their stake? Surely that is a possibility? I am convinced that we will not spend big during this window.

I believe that since TF has been a vocal West Ham supporter for a very long time and came close owning the Hammers, QPR is of interest to West Ham supporters. I suppose that is why HF posts about them so often.

As an avid QPR fan, I find HF's critiques interesting and worthy of debate. Sometimes it's good to see the wood for the trees. Some of the posts in reaction to his points show that we may be concerned about the very things he is suggesting. Keep it up HF and keep us on our toes, and hopefully you'll be eating your words. Come on you R's
