That Sinking Feeling at QPR

Is there any truth in the rumour that Fernades suddenly realises that QPR face a titanic struggle to survive in the Prem? Well with the plimsoll line rising up towards their hooped arses, and the Rs sinking lower and lower in the table, some of the cocky fans in their ranks might begin to realise that staying afloat in the top division needs more than just bluster and bullshit.

To be fair, their form has been pretty decent, and there is certainly no shame in going down 1-0 to Liverpool at Anfield - a result we West Ham fans can only dream of! - but the trouble for Warnock's Warriors is that pre season favourites for the drop - Norwich and Swansea - still sit above them in the table, whilst those in the basement are beginning to show a bit of form. The uncomfortable truth is that Rangers now sit precariously just 4 points above the bottom three. A bad December could spell disaster.

Of those in the bottom three, Blackburn look doomed, especially if the rumours of financial problems are true. The next two games will decide their fate. Win both and they have a chance. Anything less than 4 points and you can put your mortgage on them to go down.

Bolton remind me a lot of West Ham last season - ironically given Allardyce has made us West Ham Wanderers this! A nightmare fixture list at the start of the season did for them, and recovering from a dreadful start is like trying to drag yourself out of quicksand - especially when injuries keep striking. They don't just need back to back wins, they need three or four victories on the trot. Are they trapped in the perfect storm or is the situation still salvageable? They look to be holed beneath the waterline to me but they have a good manager and Cahill could be traded in January for three or four useful recruits. My money will still be on them to go down. They need 29 points from 23 games and that is a tall order for a team low on confidence. That said, they finished on 46 points last season which is pretty much the 1.28 points a game they need, so find their form and they are in with a chance.

Wigan are the big worry for the Hoops. Martinez is a good manager and they have experience of fighting the drop successfully - unlike Warnock and his charges. True Rangers have Ferdinand and Gabbidon who were with us during the Great Escape, but (although signed on a dodgy Third Party Agreement) Faurlin aint Tevez, and Warnock "knows" Tevez is the only reason we stayed up doesn't he?

At the moment, QPR are still clear favourites to survive. Swansea and Norwich could both "do a Blackpool" just as easily as the Hoops. But there is icy cold water around the Rs ankles all of a sudden and Fernades's bilge pipes won't talk them into staying up, and neither will Warnock's bluster. They don't want a striker in January apparently, which is odd because they have scored just 6 goals at home, the lowest return in the division. In fact 15 goals from 15 games is a recipe for disaster. We managed 43 goals last season and still went down. Blackpool scored 55 and Birmingham, with 37, dropped because they couldn't score and so drew too many games - 15 in total.

Rangers fans will probably hurl abuse again, but if the results go against them in the next 3 weeks, they will find themselves in very, very deep water!

I have been trawling the QPR message boards looking for W. Ham treads, guess what? I have found none!

Can't you give it a rest HF. You are too predictable.

You have four obsessions- 1). Scott Parker (are you secretly in love with him? You blather nonsense about him at every opportunity like a spurned girl. 2). Winding up QPR fans- why? Don't give me that West Ham connection rubbish- we have never had a problem with them. You are starting to give them a problem with us. 3). Your constant self praise at your supposed mystic meg abilities regarding West Ham. 4). And lastly, and most irritatingly, your hardly hid smug happiness when we lose.

You know nothing give it a rest and stop embarrassing yourself and us, though TBH I'm not entirely sure you're not a Mlllwall or Spurs 5th columnist WUM.

Well HF, first R to respond so ill hopefully set the tone...doubt it ; )
I AGREE as I said in one of ur posts last week. This is a dangerous month and also said i did not like the thought of relying on helgs old legs, bothroyds inconsistency and campbells injuries. In fairness, we r not expected to beat the pool, spurs, city, gunners or even chelsea, ok we beat them but with a lot of help! Still feel there are enough of mediocre teams in this division and enough of v poor teams for us to get to 40 odd points. No one said this would be easy but were enjoying it as the singing by the Rs shows when we r been beaten so far this season. I will b surprised if we do not add some decent quality, not stars, in jan sales.
Bring on man u its why were here. Who cares if we get stuffed. The expectation of a possible shock result for my beloved team is why i watch football. Thats all i ask for at this moment in our hopefully long stay on the prem. Really hope u and leeds can do it along with southampton to give the prem a nostalgic feel next season. All the best

No wind up here 20:50. I say " At the moment, QPR are still clear favourites to survive" and "To be fair, their form has been pretty decent, and there is certainly no shame in going down 1-0 to Liverpool at Anfield - a result we West Ham fans can only dream of!" It is my take on the state of play in the relegation fight in the Prem.

Your last comment says no wind-up where as in the last childish scribble there was a comment where you said "R's fans are too easy to wind-up". Don't insult the intelligence of the people who read this and just be honest. You hate QPR for some reason and this is why you don't mind wasting your life trying to absorb mirth from people you don't know. Do you tell your friends about this site? Do you tell your family? "Look at this site I made that a soldier once said he liked."

"That's wonderful, mate." They don't think that though. They just wish you'd be more fun again. Remember? Remember when you didn't take joy in pissing off strangers? Strangers with no faces. This might as well be a random insult generator for all it does for you. If you would like, we can strike a deal. Stop writing this crap and I'll send you an email every week calling you a cock or something. Then everyone is happy. Then you don't have to boast that the only impact you have on anyones life is pointing out the obvious in such a douche-like way. Lighting the touch-paper and sticking around to climb on the fire-engine.

This is so ball achingly sad. I await your senseless punning or attempt to point out that you really like QPR.

Why do you get so upset pet? You spent a lot of time reading and replying to this boring site!

We will sign a striker in January, NW is no mug, Helguson & Bothroyd are both playing well and scoring goals at the moment so the last thing he want's to do is tell them they are being replace next month, he's giving them a confidence boost.

All these negative comments about QPR is backfiring on u HF. Looks like your beloved WHU could be in some seriouse trouble. No confidance ,no money no goals, i would not be supprised if they drop out of the top 2 and if you lucky finish in the playoffs. Bad times aahea for your boys.As for QPR ,they will spend in January and we will stay up and if we dont well thats life ,we can afford to get ourselfs back in the Premier league.WHU cant aford another season in the championship.

I am convinced you have a soft sport for QPR,some people show there Love in different ways, I have read your posts about WHU and your as negative about them as u are about us. The differance is we as QPR fans dont want to hear it from a non QPR fan.

Must be a culture shock to go from the afluant part of West London to well what can i say a shit hold of East London.actually i should say that about East London , A shit hole is usefull.

I'd say irritated more than upset. Upset would imply that I had some emotional investment in you as a person which would be a bit weird. Or it may imply that I'm sitting in front of my computer crying and shouting "Curse you and your sardonic humour, Unfunny Website Guy!"

I probably don't comment more than the average commenter on here. I leave a name though. I rather think it reflects more on you as you built the site. If I'm honest I do get a slight kick out of pointing out your hypocrisy but like this site, it won't lead to anything.

Also, anyone that uses an exclamation point at the end of a sentence or joke should shampoo my crotch. Honestly, mate. Try leaving them off. It makes you look 30% smarter.

Once again you fail to give a good account of yourself in reply. One of these days, eh?

Back again pet? You can't keep away can you? That's the Game for you!

23:11 I've also noticed a new tactic - he's start to refer to us as guys, as in come on guys - obviously trying to appeal to our better nature. What a jerkoff.

22:43 come on HF don't be coy, let's see a picture of Mrs HF - you're a bit of a nonce case with all your soft porn pictures - so I'm sure you'll only be too happy to share a picture of the wife to 1. prove you have one and 2. to prove she ain't an boot as you claim.

That Sinking Feeling at West Ham

Lying second place with 40 points and 2 points clear of first, you would think the Hammers will stroll back to the promised land. But many teams have occupied second for long stints of the season (take cardiff) and fallen at the end of the season.

The Championship is a long old season and arguably the closest in terms of league table in English Football. Everyone can beat everyone (pretty much).

Getting 'hammered' 3-0 by Reading is a wake up call to a team which I feel has a rather arrogant view, that we'll go up at the first attempt.

Just like the R's, a bad December for the Hammers could put things into perspective. Especially after the January transfer window. Although Sullivan and Gold don't even let the kit man leave the club, some offers turned down could affect the player in question, who would rather be struggling for survival in the Prem playing teams like the Gunners, rather than away at Coventry.

But I feel that West Ham could pull through even if it's via the play-offs, and looking at the prem teams around QPR (beat Stoke away 3-1), and the transfer window round the corner, I feel we'll stay up; making a great encounter and another London derby next year.

UUUU RRRRRR''SSSSSS!!!
