Allardyce Sums Up Diouf Perfectly!

Anthropologists from around the world are hurrying to Chadwell Heath after Doctor Evil alerted them to the fact that Hell Hadji Diouf is the man they have been looking for since time immemorial. Explaining why he is having a "good look" at the Spitting Fury, Allardyce honestly said that Diouf "could be" the "missing link"!

We would never have guessed Sam!

Diouf is scum, he should be playing rugby with the rest of the no-necked neanderthals. Get out of football Diouf, our game doesn't need individuals like you.

Anon... I think you need a reality check with regards to that comment. Rugby players aren't the thugs that you get in Football. In fact people like Diouf would end up in the floor sparked out in Rugby if he tried what he does on the football pitch. The fact is now that Rugby is now getting 'the football factor' from the media. The wannabe 'god status' from football now seems to be affecting some of the Rugby players as well...
The fact is though players like Diouf should be banned from football, but as long as there are managers & owners that are willing to pay these sort of people and not care what they are like. They will always be allowed to ply their trade...

Not a fan of his myself and if it were up to me I would not have him BUT!!! It is not up to me and I for one (if he comes) will get behind him in a Hammers shirt until such time as he proves himself unworthy of the Claret and Blue.

@Hammerred, having just seen glimpses of the rugby wc final, acts such as studs driven into the back and legs, knees to the head, head high elbows and other forms of thuggery are sanctioned in that sport, thus diouf with his reputation of thuggery on the field (dont care about off field stuff) would fit right in. His breaking of the leg of the young qpr player last season in the fa cup looked almost identical to the cynical use of studs at full velocity during the mauls this morning. I don't care if rugby types call our sport "soft", compared to football, what I witnessed was pure thuggery.

Hammered - you contradict yourself old boy "In fact people like Diouf would end up in the floor sparked out in Rugby if he tried what he does on the football pitch" spark out? how would that happen? surely anyone who knocks someone spark out is thug - thus the original anon comment 11:19 is proved. Case closed, NEXT.

How's Parker doing HF?

Wrong again said...

..and how did QPR get on against Chelski today?

And how are we coping without Parker, I may add TIS. Really HF, it would be very interesting to have your assesment on this... or did you just go off Parker completely. I wonder why?

Don't get him started guys, Blackburn's equaliser came directly from a Parker foul!

Did it? And who has been scoring all the goals? That would be VDV, the guy Spurs prioritised the simmer before last! Good call!

Parker part of a winning team? Hmmm, so I guess he wasn't holding back our team, the team were holding him back. Shock horror!

Bit simplistic there. Was Upson holding back our team? He seems to be doing just fine in the Prem at Stoke and doesn't have great players around him to make him look good. What about Ba? Doing rather well at Newcastle isn't he? Again without a supporting cast of high class players.

The point is, I always said Parker was a good holding midfielder. Not a great one, but a good one. The trouble is, we didn't use him as a holding midfielder did we? Have you watched him in a Tottenham shirt? He holds. That's an easy job. Give the ball to Modric and let him play. Give the ball to Bale and let him tear the full back to shreds. Stand back and admire Van der Vaart, the player Spurs rightly prioritised over Parker.

In summary, a good cog. But we were using him in the wrong way because we couldn't afford the playmaker and Parker was not holding as a result. Simples.

So I agree, we should have kept Parker!

But only on the basis of signing Modric, Van der Vaart, Bale, Sandro, Lennon and Defoe!
