Di Canio's Swindon starting to lose touch

2-0 up against second from bottom Hereford, Paolo's Swindon somehow managed to draw 3-3. Di Canio's charges are now settled into mid table, a full 9 points off the lead already. The Italian's fans will claim that he can still lead Swindon into a play off place, and that may well not be beyond them, but that is not what was expected at the start of the season.

Frustration will be mounting inside Di Canio and I have predicted all along that he will be gone before Christmas. The first cracks are showing with open criticism of individuals when talking to the press. That's a great way of losing the dressing room.

Will Di Canio jump or will he be pushed? I favour the former. No matter what happens, there will still be a lobby for him to be given the manager's job at West Ham of course. Passion. That's what counts. Passion.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, STOP BLOGGING ABOUT SWINDON! You know nothing of the situation, I can literally bet my life that he will not 'be gone before christmas' and you say 9 points off the top like it's a bad thing. There's still 30+ games to go, it really isn't hard to gain 9 points when there is 90+ points still on offer you fool. If you insist on blogging please just blog about West Ham.

You are right, 9 points isn't such a huge gap but it is when you are shipping 3 goals against the team second from bottom in the table. 9 points will stretch to 36 over a full season!

I may be wrong about Di Canio, we will see. Why do you think your away record is so poor? What do you think of Di Canio criticising named players?

Still 9 points off the top, but sitting comfortably in the play-off places, still in the FA Cup after knocking out Huddersfield and Colchester (both league 1 opposition) and now in the Southern Johnstones Paint trophy. 13 games unbeaten in all competitions, the last loss coming in September. How wrong you were!! Oh and the man who was losing touch up for manager of the month!
