Southampton And Reading Miss All The Fun

Poor old Southampton and Reading, the season kind of fell flat at the death didn't it? Sure they won promotion - and deservedly so - but where was the day out at Wembley? It's so much more fun doing it via the playoffs!

What was that line in Groundhog Day? "Once I met this beautiful woman in a beach bar. We had cocktails and then made love in the surf. Why can't I have that day over and over and over?"

The Big boyz season finished over two weeks ago yo yo

They were relaxing in a beach bar, knowing they were already safely promoted 3 weeks ago! They didn't have to scrape through against a team they were totally overplayed by!

I bet you would have a different view if you had lost. You can't beat automatic. See you next season!

I'm inclined to believe that this was Sam's plan all along. Big Sam doesn't want the damp-squib of automatic promotion. He wants his day out in the Wembley sun. He wants to hold a trophy aloft before the fans and bask in the adulation.

Judging by the football that both Reading ans Southampton actually play versus the utterly boring and unwatchable rugby/american football hybrid your side of overpaid mercenaries play, I'd suggest that Southampton and Reading have already had their fill of fun.
At least one team played football at Wembley, it's a shame that that team were beaten by brutality and some utterly terrible refereeing (how was a foul not given on young Ince prior to the first goal, he was shoved in the back as if it were a rugby maul?).

Blah blah blah, I recall some west ham fans were so keen to go up via the play offs they were tring to convince 'Big Sam' to deliberately drop some points so they could have some fun in the playoffs and make the season last a couple more weeks.

Give it a rest you fell short of automatic promotion and got what you deserved.

I just like the fact that you think you have good support when whenever Reading play you and beat you, you ALL eave before the final wistle. Shit fans, no other club does that. Fucking disgrace.

Sam's plan all along was to go up via the Playoffs. That's why, after making Reading look like schoolboys for forty minutes, we gave away two soft goals before half time. Obvious, ain't it?
